Ok 96 g16a had stereo mounted to a plastic frame and decided to cut some diamond plate and mount to that. No problems before, but with the new setup when the diamond plate made connection to the stereos mounting harness it would ground out the speakers. Just the speakers. All other power to stereo is normal. There is a speaker mounted to the same plate as the stereo but wires do not appear to be contacting the plate. Can't figure it out. Has anyone had this problem before?
