rear shock dilemma?

Hello all,

I just installed a Jake's 6" double a-arm lift kit and new wheels and tires
on my 1998 Clubcar Carryall2.
After completing, I now cannot re-install the left rear shock? The shift cable
is in the way? Anyone else have this issue? How did you fix?
