First golf cart build-1969 toro

Hey guys. Joined before Christmas and finally have time to start working on my cart. It's a 1969 toro golfmaster golf car. There's litterally no info on these online, except for the original owners manual that I can download from toro.com, which isn't at all helpful. Anyways, picked the thing up cheap, it was originally electric but came with no batteries or charger. So, what I'm planning on doing is installing an 11hp Briggs snowblower engine which I already have, and using a knockoff comet clutch to drive a snowmobile reversing gearbox hooked to the rear differential via the original belt. Then I will build a rear body and bed for it (original one is Pretty banged up and useless for what I need it for.) all in all I hope to have her up and running for under $500, so I guess it's kind of a budget build. Anyways, this cart's really unique. It has independent rear suspension with 2 inboard disc brakes, and the front has two transverse leaf springs that also double as control arms and hold the spindles. Pretty wild imo for 45 year old technology. And yes, I know the standard around here is to say "sell it and buy a gas cart." Well, if everyone thought that way we'd still be riding in carriages. And unless anyone can find me a gas cart running and driving for under $500 (which is what mine will cost when it's finished) then please keep your comments to yourselves. Anyways, here's some pics... Actually "a" pic. It won't let me upload more than one picture for some reason
