I have my G1 I've been working on for a while. When I took it out to the trails for a couple days I had problems when my drop for my swingarm broke a weld.
I did a little damage to the clutch but have since cleaned it up and got it working good again. But, when revved the belt runs to the bottom of the driven clutch like it should, but doesn't run to the top of the drive clutch. It lacks about 1"-1 1/2" of being at the top. That would give me quite a bit more speed. It does run completely to the bottom of the drive clutch and top of the driven when at an idle. It does however take a few seconds for it to go back to the top of the driven clutch.
So, my question. If the belt is too tight would it stop the belt and clutches from shifting completely in just one clutch or the other? I know, probably a silly question, but I'm still learning about clutches.
