I have a GEM car that has 8G31 gel batteries. (six 12V for a bank of 72V) It hasnt been driven in a month. It has a smart charger that is supposed to keep it charged, but the meter on the dash indicates that the battery bank is in a very low state of charge and I can not get the charger to start.
Using a DVM I tested the individual batteries (actually I only tested 4 of them because 2 of them are very difficult to access). Of the 4 that I tested two of them are at 12.8V and two of them dont even have enough juice to show anything on the DVM.
Im surprised that the batteries show NOTHING. Is there any risk in trying to individually charge the dead batteries using the 15A Stanley charger I use for the boat batteries?
Here is a link to the charger I have:

PS - Even though I dont have an EZ-GO I posted it in this forum cuz I know JohnnieB hangs out in here.
