Swapped to the shorter belt to offset my 22" tires. WOW what a difference, its like a different machine at low speeds. Crawled right up some hills with two people I couldn't go up by myself at first even with a running start. My buddy has a stock 09 with the 350 and we both have our governors adjusted the same, we raced from a stop today and we were dead even until around 18MPH and I pulled away from him. I know my tires give me the speed, but with the larger tires, smaller motor, and I weigh more to outrun a stock cart with the 350 really impressed me (this was up a very light incline too). Two things, it has a very slight "jerk" right before the belt grabs and takes off - Im assuming this is normal and is just the belt grabbing? Also, - it makes a different noise now than before if I were to take the parking brake off and slowly roll down the driveway. It doesn't do the typical "whine" that is gone and replaced by a more subtle noise. Is this normal? I'm assuming the belt is either grabbing something it didn't used to when free-wheeling down the drive? Also, a faint "bump, bump, bump" noise while doing this that was not there before. I'm sure everything is OK but wanted to ask someone else that has done this mod.
