Rear Shock Replacement

Im trying to replacing the rear shocks on a few carts that need them bad ( 2004-2008 PDS txt ). Im having a hard time finding the best way to take the top nut off.

There is no room for me to get a socket in that very small area. I can put a wrench on the nut and try and spin the shock with one hand but thats not working, the problem is that they are so rusted and seized from years over abuse on our site ( lots of driving on gravel, mud, in sulfer and coastic stuff like that ) in all weather year around. Do I need some more elbow grease or what would be a better way of doing this.

Here is a picture of the Shocks im going to install , very tight fit
