Hello -
I was driving my cart around town yesterday for a total of approximately 5-7 miles before coming home for a couple hours without recharging my batteries. I decided to go back out on the cart and got about a mile or two from my house before my cart stopped running.
I have a digital volt meter from Scotty B at Carts Unlimited which indicated around 30-32V when not running, but shot down to around 20v when I pressed on the gas pedal. I am a little perplexed because this is the 1st time I've been out in town when my batteries died and figured that this would be plenty of voltage to keep the cart running. I was thinking I could at least get some power with as little as 10V.
Can someone please shed some light on whether this is normal or if I may have some battery /mechanical issues?
Thank you in advance.
