Replaced the OBC on a friend's cart. Prior to the OBC replacement the Curtis meter was working properly. After the OBC reset the gauge showed 2 bars. I read the spec sheet about the gauge automatically resetting when the proper reset voltage is applied. It would not reset when on the charger.
I put a power supply on the meter, ran it up to about 60 volts and let in go for about 6 minutes or so. The gauge reset properly. Put it back in the dash and it worked OK for a couple of days. Now it is back to the 2 bar charge indication. I'm trying to figure out how replacing the OBC had any effect on the Curtis gauge.
Anyone experience the same issue?
