I have a 99 EZGO. Everything worked great for the past 4 years. Batteries finally needed replacing so I bought new USA Batteries. Ran fine for about a day with the new batteries so I think I got it all wired back together correctly after the battery change. On the second day after replacing batteries I got in it and pressed the peddle and nothing happened. Messed around with a few things for about 30 minutes(didn't really do anything) and all of the sudden it started working again.
A week later I got on and it wouldn't move. I get 4 green flashes out of my controller and then it stays green. A couple of nights ago a friend suggested I bypass the reed switch. I bypassed the switch and it immediately worked. The next day I got on and took off across the field. On the way back it died. I haven't been able to get it to move since.
Any suggestions on where I look next? Controller seems to say all is good(green lights) Voltage at the controller is between 51 and 52(this is a 48 volt cart.)
Thanks.
