Well you guys were right, the new baby definitely occupies all the free time I used to have BUT it's all worth it. Spent all week after work cleaning up shop and the shed that I've just been throwing stuff in since we moved here 3 yrs ago. And spent today working on pretty much all my toys.
First was retro fitting a canopy that I got from work for a different model Gator to fit mine(can't pass up free), just about got it but need flat plate so I can relocate rear mount so it clears the first set of rear tires. Second was figuring out what's wrong the Warn 3700 winch I also got from work(free), come to find out it was hit by something so the contactor housing is damaged but I think I can fix it with some epoxy and small angle brackets. Replaced all 6 tires, 4 of the six were...you guessed it FREE...Military Gator had holes in most rear tires so they replaced all 6. I took the good 4 (75% tread left) and purchased 2 new ones and slapped them on.
Then I used the Gator to tow the Farm cart into the shop. Got her to fire up and then had to remember where I left off with it. The plan is to remove the Z lift so it will bring the front down to 8". Still have to get the throttle/governor cables installed correctly and get the rear cross member welded back in place because it broke at original weld.
And the final thing, not cart related but i'll add it since you can see in one of the pics. Ripped axles/leaf springs out of boat trailer because all of it was about to break, seems like the only thing holding everything together was rust. And I may be wrong but I doubt the previous owner ever bothered to rinse trailer off because the main frame is aluminum. I've had old galvanized boat trailers with original axles that looked 10x better than these and trailer isn't even 10yrs old.
