I am working on getting my 420 dialed in on my Yamaha G2. I have noticed sometimes when I am out on a longer run than just up and down the street the engine will bog down and eventually die. I checked when it died and my fuel filter was full. I ended up pushing it home, when i got home the fuel filter was empty. Is it possible that when the bowl is full the float could stick and cause it to run out of fuel. Im assuming when i pushed it home i went over enough bumps to jar the float loose again and fill the bowl with fuel that was in the filter and line. When i got home it started right up and ran fine. I do have a garden tractor style fuel pump, that gets its pulse from an vegas carts isolater between the carb and intake. So i shouldnt have the issue some have had with the weak pulse at high rpm when tapped into the valve cover. Just trying to work out all these kinks before I get caught further away from the house.
