I bought this a few months ago to pull my race car around in the pits. The car weighs 2750 lbs but rolls easy.
I haven't been able to locate a data plate or serial number for the cart.
From what I've learned from this site it's a PDS cart, 36 volt, stock controller, new batteries, 6 gauge cables and 18" diameter high pressure street tires. It will run 21 mph on flat ground.
From the engine tag it looks like an 07. The rear suspension doesn't look like any thing I've seen on this site.
I want to be able to pull my car in the pits about 10 mph so I bought a 2 speed rear that's supposed to bolt into an EZ GO, but just measured it today and found out it's 3.5" wider than the rear end that's in the cart. I'm going to talk to the manufacturer this week and see if they offer the correct width.
1. Does anyone know who makes this conversion kit?
2. Did EZ GO make different width rear ends?
3. Is this a stock style suspension.
My plans for the cart are:
1. 2 gauge cables
2. upgrade controller and solenoid
3. upgrade motor
4. upgrade to 48 volts (six 8 volt batteries)
I would like to be able to run close to 30 mph in high gear, which is a 10 to 1 ratio and still be able to pull my car in low gear, which is a 20 to 1 ratio.
I will be looking for advise on a motor also.
Thank for any and all help.
