Hi , I have a Sharknose (Cushman 18hp ) and it has the charging system behind the flywheel. How can I tell which motor it has? It is an "opposed" twin , has the circled OMC in raised letters on the valve covers , with a rectifier. I bought a new battery this year (radio shaak rectifier 2 years ago) and a volt gauge. With the gauge and my multi meter it shows it is over charging. Just over 16 volts. There is no voltage regulator and it does not show one in the electrical schematic. Thoughts? Suggestions?
