Rear brake pad replacement

So I called my EZGO dealer yesterday to get a price on replacement pads for the rear disk brakes. The dealer advised that the cost was $175.00 :shock:

The conversion from drum brakes to disk brakes was done at the time of purchase and the cart was ordered from EZGO (new) so I am assuming that the brakes were an EZGO item as well, dealer installed.

Questions:
1. - Can I tell by looking the brand/make of the pads?
2. - Are there aftermarket/3rd party pads available?

The dealer is about 3 hours north, and that's the closes place.
