I was hoping to have my 2003 G22 working by this weekend, but I can't get it to work. I bought it with no batteries, so there was no way to test it before I bought it. When I wired everything back in I get nothing. I tried following the Yamaha service manual troubleshooting guide and it leads me to believe it is the controller.
Getting 50.3 volts from the batteries (new AGM)
No reverse buzzer when key on and in reverse.
No response from throttle
No click of solenoid
Tow switch is working (tested with meter)
Performed the yamaha reset with tow switch
Key switch is working (tested with meter)
Ground from wire harness to solenoid is working (checked continuity)
Ground from battery to neg solenoid clicks
I included some pics on how it is wired, maybe I have something wrong.
I also took apart the controller and there is one piece of electronics that looks like it *could* be burnt (see pic).
Does anyone have any experience diagnosing the GE speed controller? JU2-H6510-00
If I cant get this to work, I'll buy an Alltrax but I would really like to get the stock controller working. This cart is for my kids to ride at our camp so I don't want it fast. The only benefit of the Alltrax is the resale value of the cart (making it go faster).
