:help:Hello just picked up this older club car for camp. I installed new batteries and cables (their were none) I found some diagrams on line but when I hooked the cables from the battery pack to the f&r switch the first time the cart would go faster in reverse than in the forward position. The batteries would charge. I was told to switch the two battery cables on the F&R switch and see if it helped.... And it did the cart went along fine in forward but the problem is I plugged the charger in and it wouldn't kick on. I thought maybe the batteries were still at a full charge because I didn't really go far. So today I took it out for a ride and tried again the charger still would not kick on so I switched the cables back and didn't the **** charger kick on.. But now It wont get up to speed in forward it will spin the tires in reverse again.. Any and all help would greatly be appreciated :help:
