Western Golf Cart - steering wheel replacement

Hello, I've got an old Western Golf cart and I'm wondering if I can replace the steering wheel with any generic replacement or I have to get a particular make/model. I will admit ahead of time that I know nothing about carts!

I've included a few photos so you can see exactly what sort of cart I have, and how the steering wheel (and column) currently look.
