New to me lifted TXT on 22s. Series. New 36v AGM batteries with 4ga wires. Want to use in neighborhood and out hunting. Not mountain climbing but a few good climbs. Have a brake issue I've addressed in a separate thread in ezgo. Would like to keep 36v now and upgrade to 48 when I need new batteries. Been in contact with Scotty. He recommended 500A alltrax HD switch and 2ga wires or 400a and switch to keep existing wiring as alternative. Leaning toward 500 and switch, upgrade cables later, any drawbacks? Worth the extra for reversing contactor vs HD rotary switch? If I don't upgrade the switch, will performance suffer or will I just burn up the switch? Any input will be appreciated by me and probably Scotty since I've already emailed him multiple times. First cart, trying to do it right while not getting in too much trouble with the boss.
