Need to fish for the bearing retainer in a GE motor

It was too late - I had already taken the 2 screws out by the speed magnet before I read not to do it.

Now I need to fish for the bearing retainer in a GE motor on my 2008 Club Car Precedent.

Any pointers or tips?
