When I purchased this home, I got a '97 Club Car DS with it. I was told that it had several previous owners and was used with the home as a rental property before I bought the house. My next door neighbor had once owned it and told me that he think it had a high speed gear put in. It is a 48 volt series and does move along pretty nicely with new batteries. That said, I decided to change the old look a bit, since I bought my wife a newer model golf cart that looks nice enough for her to be seen in it.

Here's photos of before and after. Bear in mind that I haven't finished with it, but if I don't post something now, it may not look the same later. I have a habit of changing my Harleys pretty often, so no telling what this will look like later. I do plan to build a little truck bed on the back that will also allow two grandkids to ride in back. I have heavy duty springs on the back, with the lifting shackles. I have 22"x11"x 8" tires on the back and 3" wide trailer tires on the front. I rattle can painted the cart satin black, with orange pin striping. I upholstered the seats with some waterproof fabric that I picked up on Amazon. I don't know if you can see them but I have blue dot rear tailight lens. I was bumping my head on the overhead bars so I put some pipe insulation on them. I found some cheap chrome lug nuts on ebay that I put on the front wheels. Oh yeah, the front has a toyota or honda grill that I attached and two white led lights on the front bumper for night driving.

This is one very inexpensive job. But, I know that no one else has one like it within at least 20 miles.
