Bagged Hitachi project

Hey guys, this is my latest aquisition.
I really know nothing about it, except that its a Hitachi. if there are any gurus out there, let me know!!
I previously built an 88 Par car, bagged with a few custom touches, and ever since selling it I've been itching to start another build. The day has finally come! :mrgreen:

I picked this thing up real cheap, then sold the seats for what I paid for the cart, so it's basically free!




Gave it a good blasting with the pressure washer to get rid of the years of dirt and mud.
Now I can see what I'm working with.


Teardown begins. There are sensor on every moving part in this thing, not to mention a bunch of ecu's under the rear floor. It has a front diff and driveshafts also, purely just for braking! I will more than likely remove this to create some more room. My last cart only had rear brakes, and I don't plan on going fast.
