I am in the process of installing 48v(51.2V) 100Ah lithium into my 36V DS.
Previously I had swapped out all the solenoids to heavy duty ones, installed a bypass solenoid and upgraded all the wiring to 2/0. That alone made a huge difference to top speed and more importantly, speed uphill. I also had replaced the wiper in the V-Glide.
Now, that wiper in the V-Glide is half worn and is clicking - occasionally sticking. So I thought this would be a good time to upgrade the controller too.
My question; is the Curtis (clone) 500amp 36-48V controller appropriate? I cannot find any data on the absolute max voltage that this controller can handle.
