My Club Car Carry All is a 1996 of course it came with a CCW FE290, was forced to replace with fresh FE350 CW. Yes I am forced to run in reverse for forward. Now that every thing a running correctly thanks in large part to Lockmans and others help. I am back to ask what can I do now (short of driving around in reverse) I have lost 7 or 8 mph of forward speed but I am also concerned with the potential of over revving the engine. Has anyone conquered this issue? Does anyone have any options? I though of changing to 8:1 gears($300+) I also am considering swapping rears to maybe a post 96 CW rear is this a doable thing? if so what do I need to look for? I could really use the input folks:help:
