I have a 97' electric club car, 36v, resistor /v-glide system. I plan on running a 48v pack on the 36v motor/wiring and just upgrading to a 48v solenoid and replacing the battery wires to 2ga welding wire. My v-glide mounting foot broke and is dislodged from the frame so I'll replace that anyway.
My question is, has anyone else done this and have you experienced any excessive heating in any areas with this method?
