Driven clutch issues avoided

I am very glad I decided to put a new belt on my Marathon. While taking the old one off, I noticed that the outer sheath was loose. The rivets had made the holes in the sheath oblonged, and the sheath had cut most the way through the rivets! So I drilled and tapped for 1/4 20 bolts. I used stainless steel button socket head bolts. I would have liked more thread engagement than I could get in the cast aluminum, but it is what it is. I did spot face the aluminum and put a nylock nut on 3 of the 6 bolts. Here are some pics. I hope now that I am all set for plowing snow this winter. I will see how it does, and then decide if I want to change clutch springs or not. I am pretty sure that I need a bushing in the driven clutch, it seems a little loose, but does not look worn. It will be fine for this year, next year I will replace it. Hopefully the bushing can be bought and I will not have to make one.
