I've recently worked on a 390 and I've almost changed everything on the engine.
A question
Does piston rings have a proper position?
In the new piston I found out 2 different colored rings, a black and a grey one.
And, of course, those thin 2 with the waved ring for the oil side.
Does the grey one go upper side of piston or in the middle? Or in uninfluent for a proper working of this engine?
