I know there have been several threads that revolve around a gas cart not shutting off, but either I am not understanding it or my cart (bought used), has some different wiring. Can someone please explain how a 1998 Yamaha G16A engine is supposed to shut off? Mine has not shut off normally for quite a while, but if idled, it would eventually stall. Now that I just tuned it up, it does not stall and just keeps running. I have to pull the plug wire for it to shut down. The gas pedal switch (if it has anything to do with shutting off) shows that there is continuity when the gas pedal is pushed, and none when it is up. Thanks.
