After doing a Google search, I ended up on a cart website with all the go fast goodies for a sparky DS by accident. Let's me see, motor $500, controller $400, and on, and on. I've been reading all of the issues some people have on this forum when they do only partial upgrades to their sparky trying to get a hot rod. The answer seems always to be to put more money into the cart. Something is the bottleneck in the electrical system. All this money, effort, and frustration just to be able to go as fast as a young person on a 10 speed bicycle. :shock:
I can see building a sparky cart for torque for hunting where you want stealth and no odor, but why build one for speed? Seems like a lot of money spent for a sub par UTV. Wouldn't you just be better off going with a gasser cart?
