I'm a new guy around here, and to carts in general. I'm wanting to get a cart to modify to look like a sleigh (I'm a professional Santa). I was real close to pulling the trigger on a 36v Club Car for $950... Then I thought I really should ask somebody who knows! It would be used almost exclusively on the road, and perhaps even inside, so no gassers. I would want it to glide in silently, so very little if any tread on the tires would be needed. I'm thinking it'd be very cool to bag it and when the cart is slammed it would rest on the sleigh runners, but when I'm ready to go it could float into the air and glide out! Fog machines, lights and sound effects could really sell the illusion, I think. That said, it sounds like a lot of welding and modification, so an aluminum frame might not be a great choice. I'm a fat man, and I want to do some things that'll consume a lot of power so I'm not sure if 36v would be good. Or maybe it would and just add some auxiliary batteries for all the goodies? At this point I'm not even sure what are the right questions to ask, much less knowing the answers, so any advice would be most welcome. Attachment 127404
