Weird squeak/groan from rear
I hate threads where someone tries to describe a noise but here goes anyway! 2010 G29 with 6 inch lift. The cart has a weird noise that seems to be coming from the right rear. When under power or braking it makes the noise. When coasting, it stops. It's directly related to speed. It sounds like something is hitting or rubbing like there's a high spot somewhere that gets contacted as the axle rotates. It's not anything visible like a tire or anything and almost sounds like a cable being rubbed inside the axle housing somewhere. Any suggestions on where to start looking would be helpful.![]()

Hi there all. Recently asked about my Precedent running full speed and no control on fuel pedal. Not being able to feather the pedal and speed. Just found that my plug is stripped in the head. Would this be the problem????
I am getting repaired but would like to know if this would cause the speed problem.

2007 Yamaha Drive Electric Throttle Switch?- HELP!
Ok, sorry about the earlier post stating 2012. I'm a moron. So my Drive golf cart was sort of jumpy with the accelerator pressed. I found a little corrosion on one of the battery studs. I went to clean and retighten it and it snapped off. Replaced the battery thinking that would make everything better....wrong! It did the same exact thing. So we rode it up to a little restaurant in the campground hoping it would clear up. Had dinner, came out, and it wouldn't move at all. Went in, had a beer, tried again and then it started moving again, but was still all jerky. Got back to the camper and went to test it out later and now it won't move again. I really have no clue. Perhaps the throttle switch. Problem is I don't have my tester with me in the campground and I'm gonna have no way to load this thing back in the trailer other than asking a few neighbors to help me push.

Lowering idle 420cc and vegas carb
I have 420cc predator motor with vegas carts tuned carb. I am haaving trouble getting it to idle low enough to shift gears smoothly. it idles fine its when I go to shift gears it doesn't like it. right now I pull the choke to kill the motor down some shift gears and release the choke, almost like a clutch to shift gears. my driven clutch is machined so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I had that done when I had the stock motor in it. may try a normal clutch and verify I have the 200 rpm stall spring in the drive clutch and see if that help. it grabs and kicks into gear pretty hard when you start its kind of jerky...

Parts question
First i did try the search but its not working for some reason. I have a 2004 ez go txt. Can I purchase front and rear shocks at a local parts store? If so what's the number? Next are the sams club golf cart batteries any good? They are Duracell. Rear springs....whats a good brand to use? I think I need heavy duty ones. And last my cart started to make a shinning noise. I've read it could be motor bearings. How's a good way to check them?

Sudden lost of power on xct400
When driving I get sudden lost of all power every so often (5-10 times per ride). The second I let go of the peddle all the way I regain power. All connection are tight and I even replaced mcor just in case. Running a xct400.

My g9 rebuild after caw
Well it's time to rebuild my G9 after I wrecked it at CAW.:roll: I'm going to be using a G2 frame for the swap. I will be putting everything from my G9 onto this frame. The engine will be rebuilt with a big cam, dual carb and heavy duty starter. This is going to be a slow build.

91 gas kf82 hooking backup 3 wire coil
I have one of the 1991's that has a 3 wire coil (84-89) on a kf82 engine. I took out the old coil and am ready to put in the new coil.
So I am ready to hookup and looks easy, but I have 4 wires left to check.
1. a black wire that is loose on the new ignition coil lead - I believe this connects to a loose yellow wire with black line on it
2. Red wire from a harness coming from the main electrical box. I dont believe this was connected to anything prior to taking off the old coil
3. Yellow wire with black line that does to somewhere else in the engine - I believe this may connect to the coil black lead on the new coil
4. Black wire coming from harness from the main box:? - I dont believe this was connected to anything prior to me taking out the old coil

I need Help....new build, won't run
My worst nightmare has happened, whet to fire it up for the first time and nothing.
ALLTRAX XCT500DCS, 400 amp Super Duty Solenoid, controller fan, and 2 Ga. cable set and Battery Meter w/ mounting plate. my battery meter doesn't light up either. put it in RUN, Turned the key on....FIRST I GOT 4 GREEN FLASHES.....EZGO ITS throttle then got 1 GREEN, 6 RED....Pre-charge Failure.
What do I do??
seeing as how I have a DCS, there is no pre-charge resister.....there is however on the big posts a diode. and is to be installed with the stripe on the battery side. as is in the picture.

Cart died. Smoke coming off solenoid.
Ok I could use some help. I upgraded my cart with a kit from ScottyB. I've drove it and everything has run fine, maybe have a hour on the cart. I'm at the Camp Ground in Lake Gaston and suddenly the cart starts lurching, then stops. I can hear a click when I push the peddle, but no go. As I'm looking under the seat I see smoke coming from the solenoid. I've attached a picture where the smoke was coming from. In the bottom left you can see where the wires have been unhooked next to the small terminal is black. The clicking is the forward and revers SW202 activating. The Altrax is showing good, no error codes. Now it won't move and I **** sure can't push this thing up the ramp into the 5th Wheel. Any ideas? Only tools I have with me is screwdrivers, a socket set, and pair of pliers.

DC CONVERTER problem.....please HELP!!
OK.....I have one of scottys DC Converters. I have the POWER and GROUND going to the pack.....and the trigger wire to a toggle switch.....then to the pack. I have this exact set up on my other cart.
On this build.....If the switch is ON.....everything works like a champ....everything......but as soon as I flip the trigger wire switch OFF......the it gets hotter than a fire cracker like there is a dead short....but if the switch is OPEN or in the OFF position....how can that be???
I even pulled my cart over next to this one and made a jumper to check things out so it wouldn't effect this cart as the drive system is totally separate to the lights.......and it acted the exact same way!!!!

Double post sorry
I have a 2010 Zone Cart that I have pulled the solenoid and ordered a new SW80B-156 from China, but I just realized I didn't take note of how the 2 wires were connected on the bottom of the solenoid. One is black with a #6 on it and the other is yellow with a #10.
These go on the slide terminals on the bottom of the solenoid. Any help would be appreciated.
